I used it today and much better than a numerical counter - particularly since I can't see the numbers on the numerical counter! It coordinates nicely with many of my outfits and I will be buying another in a different color scheme.

How to move the beads?
To move a bead, simply roll the bead on the elastic toward the middle connector. Most find that using a finger on the opposite hand works well for sliding the beads.
