In or near a sunny window is best!
- Hang it wherever you like using clear Command™ window hooks from 3M - they come in different sizes, are easy to apply and remove, and can be used on many types of surfaces without damage. These hooks can be purchased at your local department store.
- Hang it from a small metal cup hook above the window. Ribbon, thin wire, thread, fishing line, or chain can be used to adjust the height of the sun catcher to your liking. Cup hooks can be purchased at a hardware store.
- Hang it from window hardware or curtain rod using ribbon, wire or chain.
- Hang it on an ornament stand on a window sill or other sunny spot.
- In a car, ribbon, chain, or wire can be used to hang it from a rear view mirror.

I use only the finest materials in order to bring you a gorgeous, sparkly, high quality sun catcher.  I use Swarovski® crystal beads and Swarovski Strass prisms which are considered by many to be the finest in the world in order to bring you the ultimate sparkle. The sun catchers are strung on strong and durable 49 strand stainless steel nylon coated wire and I use sterling silver crimp beads and crimp covers. 

Of course!  If one of the sun catchers catches your eye, but you would prefer a different color, prism, length or loop size please send me an email.  I will work with you to create a custom Dobi Designs sun catcher just for you or your special someone. I also do custom orders for favors for parties, showers or weddings. The lead time for a custom order may be longer than normal. Please contact me to inquire.

The measurements vary by sun catcher and are included in the details page for each one.  The measurements are approximate and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 

Terms used in measurements:
Loop - the hanging loop at the top - the measurement is the length of the loop from top to bottom when it is laid flat

Drop - the distance from the bottom of the hanging loop to the top of the main prism below

Main prism - the big prism that hangs at the bottom of the sun catcher

Total Length - the measurement from the top of the hanging loop to the bottom of the main prism when the sun catcher is laying flat

All Dobi sun catchers will arrive in an organza pouch ready for gift giving.  A length of white ribbon is included for hanging. If it's a gift to yourself, open and enjoy!  The sun catchers are securely packed in a box for mailing to assure they arrive safely.

Yes.  If you are purchasing a sun catcher as a gift, please specify that when you check out.  You can include a note with the gift. Be sure to include your name on the note. Make sure you change the shipping address. That information can be entered when you check out.

I ship USPS First Class (3-5 business days) or USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days).  You can specify your preference at check out. 

Sun catchers are typically shipped within 1-2 business days of your order.  Custom orders may take a little longer.  If you need something right away, please let me know when you check out and I will do my best to accommodate your request. Special occasions sometimes sneak up on you.....I understand!

We know you will love your Dobi Designs sun catcher.  If, for some reason, you are not completely satisfied, you can send it back within 10 days in its original condition and packaging for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping fees are not refundable. When sending a sun catcher back, please include tracking information and insurance in the event it gets lost or damaged in shipping.

Custom orders can only be returned if they arrive damaged. Please contact me for more information.

AB stands for Aurora Borealis. It is a coating applied to certain crystals which enhances the sparkle and beauty of the crystal. The coating gives the crystal an iridescent or rainbow-like appearance with a subtle shimmer. Crystals with the AB coating glow even in low light.
