This is a small business run by a girl and her dog. That girl is me, Kelsey, and my dog is a Standard Poodle that goes by the name Lucy, or Bubbie if you'd please.
By day, I am a college student preparing to graduate in June 2016 with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging; but by night, I am hard at work crafting bow ties for dogs and building this wonderful company! It has been quite the journey so far.
My dog Lucy wears many hats in this company. She is a model, mannequin, tester of quality control, president of research and my inspiration. However, she can't take all the credit. My Mom deserves some too.
My mom owns her own dog grooming salon/boutique, which just celebrated its 30th year anniversary in 2015. Watching her manage and succeed in her business has been such an inspiration to me to start this business--my own business. I could only hope to be as successful as her someday. We are each other's biggest fans. She supports my business by displaying and selling my bows, and I support hers by managing her social media and advertising. We make a great team.
