DoggoBoop: here is our story...
DoggoBoop began in 2020, a year that taught us just how precious it is to be close to the ones we love.
During the pandemic, founders Ling and Maureen spent more than a year separated from their German Shepherd. That experience changed the way we thought about the little things that connect us to our pets. A familiar face, a favorite expression, a tiny keepsake can carry so much love when someone you cherish is far away. When our family was finally reunited, DoggoBoop was born from a simple wish: to create meaningful pieces that celebrate the bond we share with our animals.
Our love for animals has always been at the heart of what we do. While studying environmental studies at Duke, Maureen developed an even deeper appreciation for animals and the natural world. Her later work in the green energy industry continued to shape the values behind DoggoBoop and our desire to create with care and purpose.
Today, DoggoBoop is a small team of designers and makers creating personalized pet portraits and keepsakes for animal lovers around the world.
Every portrait begins with a real pet and a real photo. Our designers create each portrait individually, carefully preserving the features and expressions that make that pet recognizable while adapting the artwork for the material and craft it will become. We do not believe a beloved pet should feel like just another image copied onto a product.
Every pet has their own face, personality, and story. We believe their keepsake should too.
From dogs and cats to rabbits, birds, horses, and many other beloved companions, we are honored to create for them all.
Behind every DoggoBoop piece are real people who design, refine, make, check, pack, and care about what leaves our studio. Some pieces celebrate pets who are still happily by our side. Others carry the memory of companions who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We understand how meaningful both can be.
This is why we design with heart and make with care.
