Treat Yo' Self with Chinchillas!
Greetings and salutations!
Dragon Cat Design Co. is an expression of the things in life that I enjoy! This is, of course, referring to my passion for unique design and obsession with Dragon Cats.* It all started with the adoption of my chin-children (chinchilla-children). Just for fun, I began incorporating them into my artwork; drawing them, painting them and eventually photoshopping them into hilariously realistic and very adorable images. The photoshopped art gained some popularity in the chinchilla social media community so I had the thought, “these would look amazing on t-shirts!”
I’ve sold my artwork through other e-commerce platforms in the past and I finally decided to expand to Etsy. With over 10 years of design experience and the help of a great Print-On-Demand drop shipper, I can create and share the most awesomely unique graphics on high quality clothing, home goods, gifts and more!
* 龙猫 (pronounced lóng māo) is “chinchilla” in Chinese. It also means Totoro, as in “My Neighbor Totoro.” 龙猫 directly translates to “dragon cat.” Upon discovering this, I fell in love with the term “dragon cat.”
