This cottage design is the result of an eight-year journey of searching, dreaming and planning. When Sara set out to build her home, she wanted something that fit her small footprint of land and modest budget while still feeling open, warm and inviting. After reviewing hundreds of designs, she carefully combined the best ideas into a plan that she brought to a talented local architect in her village — John.
The result? A jewel box of a cottage that truly feels like home. It’s a light-filled space that’s airy in the summer, cozy in the cooler months, and beautifully connected to the surrounding environment.
