This substrate has everything I was looking for for my Nesodillo archangelii Yeti isopods and my Anadenobolus arboreus Gundlachi millipede babies! The leaf litter and sphagnum moss came packaged separately so I was able to mix everything in how I wanted for each enclosure. The magnolia leaves were very crispy and were super easy to crunch up into the sizes I needed, and the size variety was great for adding in some full sized ones along with broken up pieces. The lichen sticks were thoroughly covered and also had different thicknesses, and a couple pieces of thinner lichen bark were included too which allowed me to break them up to fit onto other pieces of wood. The decaying wood could be a little crumblier, but feels like with a little bit of moisture and a few days it will be enough to make it the perfect level of rot.

Just arrived on my doorstep and I can already say that I'll be ordering again! My 2 large adult crabbies ages 8 and 15 are spoiled. When it comes to their forging mix it must be top tier ingredients or hard pass and this leaf litter is SUPERB QUALITY. I immediately spread the leaves out in their 100 gallon tank and hope that by tomorrow morning I will see evidence of nibbles and hiding. The freebie bag was a huge surprise! Thank you for that amount of extras.
