Welcome to Walnut and Birch!
Hi, I’m Kaylee, and alongside my husband, Justin, we create heartfelt, personalized gifts that help bring your most meaningful moments to life.
My journey started back in 2014 when I created custom pieces for my own wedding and instantly fell in love with designing meaningful, one-of-a-kind items. What began as a small passion project quickly grew into this little shop when I opened Walnut and Birch in January 2015. Now, as we move into our 11th year, it’s incredible to look back and see how far this journey has taken us.
Four years ago, Justin retired from his job to join me full-time, and we’ve been working side by side ever since. Running this business together has not only strengthened our marriage but has allowed us to build a life centered around the things that matter most to us, our family.
We’re also parents to two amazing girls. Our oldest is 17 and getting ready to graduate high school, and our youngest is 8 and in third grade. When we’re not working in the shop, you’ll usually find us at one of their sports games or school events, exploring local festivals, wandering through small downtowns on the weekend, or packing up for our next family adventure. We love to travel whenever we can and make as many memories together as possible.
Watching our kids grow up has reminded us just how quickly these seasons of life pass. The moments that feel ordinary today often become the memories we treasure most tomorrow. That’s one of the reasons we love what we do, creating pieces that help families celebrate and remember those special moments along the way.
Every item we make is designed with intention, care, and a genuine love for celebrating life’s milestones, big or small. Whether it’s a personalized gift, a meaningful keepsake, or a custom piece created just for you, we’re honored to play a small part in your story.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We truly couldn’t do it without you, and we’re so grateful to create pieces that mean something to you and the people you love.
Here’s to celebrating life, family, and the memories that matter most.
