We are Dyes That Bind, a small woman-owned shibari rope shop based out of the North Carolina Triangle. Originally what began as a 2020 lockdown hobby-turned-passion, our mission is to provide vibrant and colorful bondage that is bound to affirm and inspire. All our rope is hand dyed in small batches, which we feel gives a personal touch while reflecting our commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship at every stage, resulting in some of finest 100% solid braid nylon rope available you’ll have to see (and feel) to believe! Intimate items made by intimate hands.

As kinky little mad scientists, we are always experimenting in the lab and constantly coming up with different exciting colorways and themes, so it’s always good to stay tuned to check out what we come out with next. Give us a try and let us show you why ‘Bondage is Better in Color'!

//Cut Rope Policy//

Dyes That Bind prioritizes your safety above all else. We understand that Shibari is inherently risky, which we have a deep respect for. Remember, you can always replace a rope, but you can never replace a life.
If you ever need to cut your Dyes That Bind rope during an emergency, we’ll replace it free of charge (please note that substitutions may apply for limited edition items).
This policy applies exclusively to ropes crafted by Dyes That Bind, including those purchased directly from DyesThatBind.Etsy.com, through an authorized retailer, or received as a gift.
