I taught myself to paint and fell in love.
Painting was only supposed to be something I'd try my hand at. My father, who had always been a major influence in my artistic pursuits, sent me a painting; a version of a drawing I sent him. I bought some brushes and a case of paint and got to work familiarizing myself with the medium. With every new canvas I fell in love, and now whenever I saw something beautiful I attempt to capture it. New York City. My city is what I believe to be one of the greatest cities on earth. It's dirty and grungy and full of life and color and concrete and green. It's the place for diversity and fashion and art and experience. It's become one of my favorite things to paint and a theme amongst my creations.
Recently people have started to take notice and inquire about buying my work so I opened this shop. I've also been questioned about commissions as well and have been having a blast and a half creating works of art out of the ideas people have in their heads.
Opening this shop has given me the opportunity to share my work and up my game with every new work and I am so grateful for the business and love I've received from those who have noticed. A huge thank you for the support!
