About ESAN Studio
ESAN Studio was born from a deep respect for heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural identity.
“ESAN” is the name of Northeastern Thailand — a region known as the heart of traditional textile weaving. For generations, artisans here have created extraordinary fabrics such as silk, cotton, mudmee (ikat), and indigo-dyed textiles, each carrying stories, techniques, and wisdom passed down through time.
We created ESAN Studio with a simple belief:
tradition should not be forgotten — it should evolve.
Our mission is to bring these ancestral techniques into the modern world.
We transform traditional textiles into contemporary home decor and lifestyle pieces — blending old-world craftsmanship with new design perspectives.
Beyond Thailand, we also explore textiles from across Asia — including fabrics from hill tribes, indigenous communities, and regional artisans.
Each piece reflects a diversity of cultures, identities, and stories.
At the same time, we are committed to sustainability.
Many of our products are created using upcycled fabrics, giving new life to existing materials while reducing waste and honoring the value of craftsmanship.
