How I Started Early June Shop
I’m Kelly, the owner and designer behind Early June Shop! I started my business five years ago because I love creating unique home décor and personalized gifts. The name, Early June Shop, is a tribute to my Grandma June and to Early June 2008 when I became a Mom. My logo was inspired by one of the first home décor items I created.
I started out in scrapbooking and I loved the beautiful paper so much that I began to use it in some home décor I created! When decorating my home, I found I could never find the right color or style décor I had in mind. So, I started making my own! The personalized gifts part of my shop was inspired by life’s milestones that are so important to celebrate. With mass produced items and gift cards galore, I could never find something special to gift for a milestone birthday, retirement, new home, new job, new baby, and more so I started to make my own gifts for these special occasions.
Everything I make is of the highest quality because they are items I would put in my own home or gift to family and friends.
