FINDING UNIQUE ITEMS FROM THE PAST FOR ENJOYMENT TODAY
Long Story Short-I have been open a couple of times in the past and had to shut down in vacation mode due to surgery, Covid and homeschool issues. I am now back to stay with a new name (EclecticFair) that better reflects the items I am listing to sell.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION- is a Number 1 Priority for me so please read the following:
RETURNS/REFUNDS-I will accept returns on damaged or broken items that the customer receives, just return the item and I will refund your money; however, if it is damage that has been depicted in the description and/or the photographs I will NOT accept its return or refund the money as it was purchased knowingly with damage. I will also refund money for any errors that occur on my end that cause the wrong item to be sent to the wrong customer. I added this because I have done this (only once) and I was so embarrassed but I want to let my customers that I will own my mistakes.
SHIPPING TIME FRAMES- 3 to 5 days out my door to the local Post Office.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING-If you order something from my shop I can only think that it is something you wish to have and that you want it to get it in good repair. I will do my best to pack items with enough packing material and in boxes strong enough to prevent breakage in transit, this adds weight which adds to postage cost. I try to use the minimal amount of packing material and box size that will still protect the item you bought.
VINTAGE-I try my best to find TRUE vintage items that are 20-99 years old and that are unique in character and design. Items this old are 99% preowned; even when in good overall repair they tend to have signs of use and of being loved and cherished by their prior owner. All items you get from me will be as clean as I can make them and will be inspected closely for damage; any damage that I find will be depicted in the description and in the pictures-PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION AND REVIEW ALL OF THE PICTURES BEFORE YOU BUY AN ITEM FROM MY SHOP.
JEWELRY-I love vintage jewelry and there will be a large variety of both signed and unsigned vintage jewelry on my site. If I state that it is signed it WILL BE SIGNED and the mark/signature will be depicted in one of the pictures of the item.
PRICING-I research and compare all of my items to several different sources on the internet-auctions, yard sale sights, valuation services and other sale sights; I try to price somewhere in the middle of extreme lows and highs so everyone has a chance to buy things they want. However, I have been fortunate enough to find some very valuable things and the listed price will reflect the value of the item.
I love going to yard sales, thrift stores and second hand shops to look for items to clean up and put in my shop for my customers to look at and enjoy. The stuff from the past that is saved for today is special and should be cherished by everyone.
I hope that my mission statement did not sound too abrupt, I want to be a good shop keeper and do good by my customers. I wanted my customers to know my values first hand so that when they ordered from my shop they would know they would get both quality items and quality service.
