Cat furniture designed by a breeder, handmade in our Polish workshop
I have been breeding cats for most of my adult life. Long before PRASKA
existed, I was watching them. Which shelf they chose. How high they climbed
before they settled. Where they slept when they wanted to be left alone.
For years I bought what was available. It never quite worked. Platforms too
shallow to lie on. Steps spaced for a drawing, not for a jump. Structures
that shifted when a large cat landed.
So we started making our own.
Every piece is cut, sanded and finished by hand in our workshop in
Czechowice-Dziedzice, in southern Poland. Birch plywood. Natural felt.

Almost nothing is made in advance. Your piece is built after you order it,
which is why you choose the plywood, the felt colour, the fabric and the
layout of the shelves. Many of the smaller details are cut by hand as we go,
so no two pieces come out identical.
We design for cats that are actually large. Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Norwegian
Forest cats, Siberians. Every shelf holds up to 50 kg, and the beds are deep
enough for a cat to stretch out rather than fold up. This is not a line we
wrote for the catalogue. It comes from years of sharing a house with cats
that outgrow standard furniture.
We also make birthing boxes, maternity beds and kitten pens. That part of
the collection comes directly from experience: from litters, from
socialisation, from the daily work of organising space for many cats at
once. If you breed, you will recognise the details.
One more thing. Our furniture is meant to live in your home, not next to it.
A scratching post that does not look like an accident in the living room.
