My journey into the world of fine jewelry began at three years old, when my mother placed a gold heart around my neck. To my young eyes, that gleaming object felt as if it held supernatural powers. That fascination never faded. By my teens, I was saving every cent of my babysitting money to collect gold crosses and angels that spoke to my soul. The turning point came years later when my sweetheart proposed with a custom .70 carat, E-color, VVS diamond set in a delicate 14KT white gold 'V' setting. Seeing the precision and love in that single piece of jewelry changed the course of my life. I didn't just want to wear beautiful things, I wanted to understand how to create them. Over the last 40 years, that 'life-changing trajectory' has allowed me to help countless couples bring their dream engagement rings and wedding bands to life.
