El resultado: dos personas que aman las frutas, verduras, especias y hierbas... las materias primas tanto del jabón como de la cocina. Roy Sell, con sus veinte años de experiencia en la industria de restaurantes, combina su pasión por la creación de alimentos y la nutrición saludable para diseñar bocadillos como Spicy Smoked Chipotle Kale, Cinnamon Apple Chips y jengibre cristalizado. Melissa McCurley, nativa de Dallas y fabricante de jabón, descubrió las propiedades curativas de las plantas mientras estudiaba la artesanía silvestre y la medicina herbal con curanderos nativos en Santa Fe, Nuevo México. Este conocimiento cambió todo su enfoque de la fabricación de jabón ... redescubriéndolo como fuente de nutrición corporal y terapia natural. Roy agrega su experiencia culinaria con infusiones de aceite, combinaciones de sabores a base de hierbas y ajustes técnicos.
Juntos crearon "Material Comestible", una empresa que produce productos saludables para el cuerpo humano... por dentro y por fuera. Sus jabones y bocadillos totalmente naturales son frescos, nutritivos, deliciosamente gruesos y texturizados; a veces es difícil distinguir el jabón de los bocadillos. ¡Todos se ven lo suficientemente bien como para comer!

The result--two people who love fruits, vegetables, spices and herbs...the raw materials of both soap and cooking. Roy Sell, with his twenty years experience in the restaurant industry, combines his passion for food creation and healthy nutrition to design snacks like Spicy Smoked Chipotle Kale, Cinnamon Apple Chips, and crystallized ginger. Melissa McCurley, a Dallas native and soapmaker, discovered the healing properties of plants while studying wildcrafting and herbal medicine with native healers in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This knowledge changed her entire approach to soapmaking...re-discovering it as a source of body nutrition and natural therapy. Roy adds his culinary expertise with oil infusions, herbal flavor combinations, and technical fine-tuning.
Together they created "Edible Material," a company that produces healthy products for the human body...inside and out. Their all-natural soaps and snacks are fresh, nutritious, deliciously chunky and textured; sometimes it's hard to tell the soap from the snacks. They all look good enough to eat!
