Edith York inspired ~ One of a kind jewelry creations

Occassionally, I sign up for a class offered through our county. One of these classes developed into a passion for seeking and collecting vintage and broken jewelry that morph into new meaning for each unique piece. Recollecting a opal ring surrounded with rhinestones, and a classy lady always wearing a matching necklace and earrings came to mind. As a small child, the ring was given to me by my grandmother, Edith. The classy lady? The namesake of Edith, her daughter. It was apparent that they both loved their colorful and shiny jewels. With the passing of each, I was afforded the privilege to be the new owner of their trinkets. Since both of these ladies grew up and lived on the York River, it seems only fitting that the name for my jewelry designs and creations be Edith York inspired.
