About Ela Patterns
Ela Patterns is a mother–daughter shop offering digital sewing patterns inspired by real, handmade garments.
The shop began with a dress Habibe made for her granddaughter — a piece sewn with care, just like the many garments she’s created for her family over the years. Having started sewing at age 11 with her first sewing machine, her experience and eye for detail are at the heart of every pattern.
Tulay handles the digital side of Ela Patterns. She prepares the patterns, writes step-by-step sewing instructions, organizes product photos, manages the shop, and answers customer messages. Although she's new to this field, she enjoys transforming handmade design into a format others can use and enjoy.
Ela Patterns focuses on beginner-friendly PDF sewing patterns, especially for children’s clothing. Each pattern is based on actual garments and comes with clear instructions and helpful visuals. Our goal is to make sewing accessible, joyful, and approachable — one pattern at a time.
