Cuddle Underwear's Story
I was born and raised in the GTA of Ontario. I completed the Fashion Design and Fashion Business Associate Degree at George Brown and I showcased my lingerie and Cape collection at Toronto Alternative Fashion Week. After receiving my bachelor's of Art in International Fashion Practices from Manchester Metroplitan University, I opened my first brick and mortar store where I made custom made dresses and ready to wear collections. But my passion always went back to intimate apparel.
In 2018, I had an opportunity to become a fashion designer at a lingerie company in the East coast and packed my bags with my boyfriend. The energy of the ocean and the change of pace to life, inspired me to create my first set of matching underwear (in the East Coast print). With the support of the local community, the Cuddle Wear collection took off and it was truly a "everything happens for a reason" moment. Even though I am now back in Ontario, I feel like I always have a piece of the East Coast with me. oh, and the boyfriend is now my forever cuddle hubby.
