In order to fulfill your order, the buyer must provide certain information (in which they authorized Etsy to provide to me, the seller), such as name, address, email address, payment information, and the details of the product in which they are ordering. The buyer may also choose to contact and provide the seller with additional personal information (for custom orders, for example).

The seller may collect, use, and share this information in the following ways:
- as needed to provide services, such as fulfilling orders and provide customer support;
- if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
- using the information to provide the services the buyer requested and as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Information sharing and disclosure: The buyers' personal information is very important and will only be shared for the following reasons:
- Etsy- In order to provide services and comply with obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
- Service providers, such as delivery companies- Certain trusted third parties will be engaged to provide services. The seller will only share the necessary information in order to perform these services.
- Compliance with laws. The seller may collect, use, retain, and share your information if they have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

Data Retention: The seller will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services and as described in the Privacy Policy. However, the seller may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. The seller will generally keep your data for the following time period: 5 years.

Your Rights: If they buyer resides in certain territories, including the EU, they have a number of rights in relation to their personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. These rights are detailed below:
- Access- The buyer may have the right to access and receive a copy of their personal information the seller holds by contacting the seller.
- Change, restrict, delete- The buyer may also have rights to change, restrict the seller's use of, or delete their personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where the seller is required to store data for legal reasons), the seller will generally delete your personal information upon request.
- Object. You can object to the seller's processing of some of your information based on legitimate interests. In such cases, the seller will delete the buyer's personal information unless the seller has compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
- Complain- If the buyer resides in the EU and wish to raise a concern about the seller's use of personal information (and without prejudice to any other rights the buyer may have), the buyer has the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
- If a buyer contacts the seller to access, correct or delete personal information held by Etsy, the seller may redirect the buyer to send a request directly to Etsy.
