Live an embellished life!
I started this shop because I'm an obsessive creator, and when I run out of things to do and make, I start looking around for the next thing. I was bored of crocheting and chanced upon fabric covered buttons. I figured it was a good way to use up fabric I'd been collecting over the years...
But then it got away from me: embroidered, embellished, embroidered, cashmere, linen, leather oh my! Anything was game for my scissors (thanks, hon, for ripping that lamb leather jacket!) I could hardly wait for that skirt with beaded trim to fall by the wayside.
It got bad, I tell you, bad (when you start stopping strangers and offering them money for that lace dress when they don't want it any more, one needs an intervention) So I started buying fabric, and I haven't stopped. And to justify getting new ones, I have to get rid of the ones I have. Voila! my loss, your gain.
And she who dies with the most fabric wins. Hey, the Egyptians got to be buried with horses, soldiers, possessions (including wives!) I'm not *that* bad!
