Our stitched little world
When we first started dating, my wife would spend her evenings with an embroidery hoop in her hands. She said stitching was her way of slowing down time, disconnecting from the noise, and making the world just a little cozier.
I didn’t quite get the magic at first, but one day I asked her:
“What if I made a pattern just for you?”
She laughed — and that’s how it all began.
I started designing cross stitch patterns for her: simple at first, then more whimsical — funny cats, fantasy birds, silly phrases, and quirky characters we dreamed up together.
Each new pattern became a small gift for her — and a new way for me to say “I love you” in little Xs.
And you know what? She started waiting for those patterns with excitement.
That’s when the idea hit me: what if I shared this joy with others?
