Mi chiamo Emily e cucio e creo da quando ero una bambina. Sono infermiera in sala operatoria da 14 anni. Non appena ho visto i meravigliosi cappelli che il personale indossa in sala operatoria ho capito che dovevo solo farne alcuni miei. Nel corso degli anni ho realizzato diverse varianti del cappello scrub bouffant, modificandolo ogni volta per adattarsi meglio e adattarsi indossando un cappello per un'intera giornata di lavoro. Uso meno cuciture sulla mia fascia ora rispetto al passato, perché ho scoperto che mi prudeva la fronte. Ho anche esteso la fascia di cotone piatta oltre le orecchie perché mi piace indossare la mia sopra le orecchie e avere la parte raccolta sopra le orecchie mi fa male. Sono regolabili nella parte posteriore per adattarsi a diverse lunghezze di capelli e dimensioni della testa. ADORO scegliere un tessuto davvero carino e decidere come assemblare ogni lotto di cappelli che faccio. Mi piace molto scegliere continuamente nuovi tessuti, colori e disegni. Spero che ti piacciano i miei cappelli tanto quanto me.
Adoro il fatto che non devo mai fare i capelli per lavoro, ma ho comunque un aspetto carino! :)
My name is Emily and I have been sewing and creating since I was a little girl. I’ve been a nurse in the operating room for 14 years. As soon as I saw the wonderful hats that the staff wear in the operating room I knew I just had to make some of my own. Over the years I have made several different variations of the bouffant scrub hat, tweaking it each time to better fit and accommodate wearing a hat for an entire day of work. I use less stitching on my band now then I used to, because I found that It would itch my forehead. I also extended the flat cotton band back past the ears because I like to wear mine over my ears, and having the gathered part over my ears hurt. They are adjustable in the back to fit many different hair lengths and head sizes. I LOVE picking out really cute fabric and deciding how I will assemble each batch of hats that I make. I really like to continually pick out new fabrics, colors, and designs. I hope that you enjoy my hats as much as I do.
I really love the fact that I never have to do my hair for work but still look cute! :)
