What size frame will I need for my print?

Each standard order is professionally printed on a burlap sheet, cotton sheet, or watercolor fine art paper that is 8 1/2" X 11". We recommend framing in an 11" X 14" frame with an 8" X 10" mat. Easy framing instructions are included with every print!

If you added the 11" X 14" print size upgrade, your print will arrive ready to frame in an 11" X 14" frame or a larger frame that has an 11" X 14" mat opening. Still have questions? Please feel free to ask!

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

International Orders are shipped via USPS First Class International Mail and can take 2-4 weeks for delivery.

What if there is a mistake with my order?

If your order arrives and something is wrong, please contact us! If it was our error (meaning you entered the information correctly and we made a mistake) we will send you a replacement at no charge! 

In the event that you entered some information incorrectly, we will happily send you a replacement at a discounted price to cover the cost of shipping and materials. Photo Quality Tips & Guidelines for Submissions

BEST PRACTICES
• Use natural lighting — avoid harsh shadows or yellow indoor light.

• Ensure the subject is clear, centered, and in focus.

• Maintain high resolution (minimum 1500px on the shortest side).

• Keep colors true to life — avoid heavy filters or distortions.

• Save and upload as JPG or PNG files.

• Take original photos — avoid using screenshots or portrait mode images, as they can reduce quality and depth accuracy.


WHAT WE DON'T ACCEPT
• Blurry, dark, or pixelated photos.

• Images with added text, logos, or watermarks.

• Photos containing nudity, violence, or graphic content — these will be rejected immediately.

• Photos that you don’t own the rights to.

Will I receive a proof of my design before it is printed and shipped?

We will only send a proof of your order prior to printing BY REQUEST. If you do not request to see a proof, one will NOT be sent! Your order will be personalized according to your note, printed and shipped. PLEASE NOTE: requesting a proof may delay shipment.

Up to 2 revisions are included in the original cost of any personalized art. (3 total proofs.) For standard designs that request a proof, if a response from the customer is not received after 24 hours, we will assume approval, print and ship. For completely custom designs, if a response is not received within 7 days, we will consider the order abandoned and we will ship the art as-is without approval.

I am not able create digital proofs prior to purchase. Thank you for understanding!

Framing available in classic Black and Reclaimed Barnwood.

The BARNWOOD frame is manufactured from 100% authentic weathered wood allowing the rustic charm of the natural knots, nail holes and color variations to show through. These are not considered defects. Frames are custom made and will vary slightly from the picture due to the nature of the wood. Our barnwood frames are REAL salvaged barn wood and have the natural rustic elements intact in most of them. You can expect

If shipping your order directly to a gift recipient, simply update the “shipping address” accordingly.

Can I send an item directly to someone else as a gift?

Absolutely!

1) Be sure to add framing with your print for a complete gift!

2) Update the shipping address to the recipient’s address!

3) If you’d like, include a personal gift note message by marking your order as a “gift” during checkout. You will see a prompt for a gift message!

My order was damaged in transit. What do I do?

In the event that you receive a damaged package, we kindly request that that you photograph it before opening it. After you have, then please proceed with opening to checking if the product is damaged. If it is, please submit these photos to us so that we can file a claim and replace your product. Always contact us and we will be happy to help in any way we are able!

May I cancel or return my order?

We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their Emma and the Bean order. We accept cancellations and returns on the following conditions:

CANCELLATIONS

1) within 1 hr of purchase due to our quick turnaround time.
2) after 1 hr if we haven't started your order yet. Once the proofing process has begun, we cannot cancel and refund.

RETURNS

1) Personalized and custom items CANNOT be returned.
2) If you are not satisfied with your purchase of an UNPERSONALIZED item, please return the item within 14 business days. We will issue a refund for the cost of your purchase (less the shipping costs). Buyer is responsible for the item's return shipping costs.
