Beauty made with love! 💗 A long long way to find my own way.
Hello my beautiful shoppers!
Grab the popcorn before reading the next paragraphs because my story isn't short, it could be a movie. I'll try to be brief! 😄
My love with makeup started at the very early age of 4 years old. It was my first end of the year ballet presentation and my aunt did my makeup. The classic blue eyeshadow and red lipstick. I still remember how amazed I was with the possibility of changing the way you look by "painting" your face. Right there I felt how powerful this art form could be.
As I grew up my love with makeup also grew with me. I remember spending many entire afternoons playing with my aunt's lipstick drawer and my moms makeup palettes. I use to do my friends makeup for fun. And every ballet presentation (I danced for 20 years semi-professionally) makeup was my favourite part of the preparations.
When I was a teenager I started to wear makeup daily. First just mascara, then eyeliner and mascara, later a little bit of face powder and when I was about 18 I discovered the world of eyeshadows. The excitement and love for eyeshadows was really big! Unfortunately on my born country the options were too bad and too little.
But my road to get to the happiest point of my professional life (now with my Etsy Shop) wasn't easy or short.
I got into my first college when I was 17, graduating at 21 on Information Systems, a new course at the federal university of my state. I was the first girl to graduate on that course. Proud of that! In that field I worked as a web designer and a tester of user interfaces and usability. I worked for a small company, to a publicity company and had my own business. Didn't feel right though. So I continued the search to discover myself and my truth passion.
So at 22 I started my second college. Now very much closer to my likings and talents. At 27 I graduated as an Architect and Urbanist. A very hard but beautiful profession which I still love very much! I had my own Architecture office and worked with Interior Design and at the dairy factory field. I did many many dairy factories in the country side of my state. I loved that job very much! Never learned so much in my life. In the last years of practicing Architecture I did a post grad in Interior Design. I had so much fun learning about shapes, colours, combinations, and what I liked the most was how creative I could be expressing myself on my design projects.
Then the quality of life in my country started to get worse and worse. Too much political and economical problems. Public safety was practically non existent putting our lives in constant danger. Who wants to live like that, without knowing if you're gonna get home alive? Not me for sure.
Five years later my husband and I decided to completely change our lives. We moved to Canada to pursue our dreams. The process to recognize my architect grade here would be as extensive as doing the course all over again. This was something unthinkable for me, since it's not an easy course and at this point of my life I really wasn't willing to do it all over again. I then thought about pursuing my biggest passion: makeup! Here not only it was possible for me to grow and learn more about what was a hobby for me at the time, but to make a life out of it.
So in 2016 I did makeup school at Glow Academy here in the KW region (how much fun it was! 😆) and then started my own makeup business.
You see, in every profession I had, I always had my own business. I studied a lot in my first college about business administration and always had a special love for it. So what I do today is a concussion of everything I've learned along the years.
I started selling eyeshadows (my biggest passion) then highlighters, then blushes, and so on. A few months later we were officially and legally stablished as a small business.
This is the happiest I have ever been professionally. I could never imagine even in my wildest dreams to be creating and selling what I love the most!
For now it is a one woman operation, I do it all by myself and I love it all very much!
Hopefully we'll be able to hire some help in the future. 💖
Making good quality makeup that is cruelty free, has more natural ingredients, is very girly and pretty and to be selling it worldwide in a more affordable price range is our mission and passion! All is made with so much love and care. We're always thinking about how it's gonna get to you and how it's gonna be used.
The return and incentive I get from most of my costumers is what makes it all worthwhile. 💗
