My "My time", is creating jewelry.
I began my LOVE for beads when I was about 12 making friendship pins out of safety pins and seed beads for all my friends. Years later after school was all done, and after I found love and was married and planning to be a mother, My mother was given a Handmade wire wrapped bracelet with multiple gemstones. I thought it was so pretty, that it triggered me to want to make one. I went into my local bead store and the sales person helped me select all the items I needed, found a tutorial book and went home. After buying all the tools, wires and strands of beads my bracelet turned out to be quite a bit of $$$. Well I had all these beads leftover so,,,,,I said ,"Well let me make another" and the rest was history.
I have graduated to Stones, Gemstones, Crystals and different kinds of metals. I love beads, I find myself in complete heaven when I attend a Gem show ( it's like a candy store) . I hand pick each strand of beads or stones.
My jewelry creations are made in waves. Since I work full time, I can't dedicate everyday to creating. So I unleash my bead/stone station table by my backyard window and can create for weeks at a time.....then I pause from creating and then I get back into it. {My Wave} !
I create my pieces keeping in mind our economic crunch and pride myself in creating one of a kind pieces for all to enjoy. I have affordable unique pieces I am proud of.
