Selling Accessories to One Gentleman at a Time
Englemen started years ago with an idea to start a gentlemen's company.
The first few ideas were centered around clothing, like t-shirts and hats; your basic "I wanna start a company" idea. That plan fell through while being active in numerous organizations in the college. The second opportunity to rejuvenate the venture was for a project in an entrepreneurship course to "Start a Venture." With this came the idea of selling beard oil, which a lot of research was done for the perfect concoction. This was the first time the company went full throttle to provide a solution for a problem, itchy beards. After a couple of years, the company decided to put everything on pause.
That brings us to 2021 the year where we thought Covid would be over and everything will be back to normal. One day after randomly watching a video on stitching, the idea of hand making a bow tie came up. Bow ties have always been a passion and selling my own has always been a dream of mine. At first, I just wanted to make one to wear, but after the first hand-made product came to life, it was destiny. The ideas started pouring and the company came back to life.
With the start of bow ties, Englemen hopes to bring the classy look back and make it for all occasions and not just Black Tie Affair events.
