EVE of Europe along with its other selling venues on Etsy and beyond offers one of the Internet's largest individual collections of ‘as found’ antique, vintage and collectible items sourced throughout Western Europe. We always have over 10000 items in our online stores and new listings appear daily as we are always sourcing new stock. You can keep up to date with new listings by 'hearting' our store to receive updates to your Etsy feed.
Operating worldwide from Normandy in France we supply private customers and commercial operations which include wholesale buyers, film studios, interior designers, television studios, photographers, journalists, publishing houses, prop suppliers and authors. EVE is a long established family run business providing a personalised, discreet and adaptive range of services to suit our clients and their varied needs.

Our first store on Etsy and our biggest, containing over 5000 items sourced all over Europe. We see this one as our main shop floor carrying all manner of vintage and antique items.

Our second largest store containing those more unusual and exclusive vintage and antique items than we source in France. We usually have a selection of 2500 items in store but that collection will grow through 2023.

A new currently small department dealing in vintage and antique soft furnishings, fabrics and decoration. We expect to see continued inventory growth here through 2023 as we always have plenty of suited items to list.

Another new department dealing in all types of vintage and antique items that don't quite fit in to our other stores on Etsy. That may be old stock that has been sitting around for a while or damaged items that need some love and restoration. If you can imagine our other shops on Etsy being our main shop floors, Mr EVE contains the items from our dusty attics and cellars. The things Mrs EVE overlooks for our main shops, but Mr EVE saves from a sad eternity discarded in the dusty corners of our store rooms.
Our Etsy based web outlets feature a large majority of our stock. We also trade via our own website; the European Vintage Emporium, where you can find even more inventory. We also have a store and studio in Lower Normandy in France which are open by appointment. Find out more on our website.
You can buy with complete confidence from all of our stores knowing that all purchases are dispatched fast, tracked and completely covered for transit loss and damage.
All items are supplied on approval. If they don’t fit in as expected, or are an unappreciated present, return them within four weeks of receipt for a full refund of the item cost. We know shopping online can sometimes be difficult!

Frequently asked questions
Can I get a discount?
Multiple item purchases automatically have postage discounts applied at checkout. Items are also often reduced in price by about 5% every four months when they are unsold and relisted.
How quickly can I get this?
Items are usually dispatched within one working day from France. They typically arrive with customers 5-10 working days (1-2 weeks) after dispatch via our standard tracked and recorded delivery service. An express tracked and signed for upgrade is available at checkout and this usually takes 3-7 working days. We cannot guarantee any shipping times as we rely on assorted third parties for transit and cross border services. Please see our shipping policies for more detailed information on shipping.
What size is this?
Please check listing descriptions for sizes or alternatively photos for rulers. If you require further measurements send us a message and we will get back to you promptly.
Do you ship to ... ? How much is postage to ... ?
We ship worldwide from France via tracked and insured postage services. All standard international postage prices are found in individual listings by clicking on the shipping tab or scrolling down. International standard postage usually takes 1-2 weeks from dispatch to arrive with customers. Express upgrades are available at checkout. We give automatic postage discounts on multiple item orders at checkout. Any postage charge overages will be refunded after dispatch. See more information on postage in our shop policies section.
Where are you based?
We are based in the United Kingdom and France. All of our stock is now dispatched from France. Personal collection can be arranged in Normandy, France.
Can you gift wrap this for me?
Yes of course! We can also include a card with a hand written message of your choosing. See an example of our gift wrapping at checkout and select the option if you would like your item gift wrapped. An extra fee does apply.
Do you have any more / similiar items than those listed?
The large majority of our stock appears on Etsy. Nearly all of our stock appears on our own website (we always have more listing to do!). There is a chance that we may have different items and quantities than those that are listed here on Etsy immediately available from stock. We also keep tabs on a lot of outlets in our local areas and also have quite a network of colleagues throughout Western Europe, so we may be able to help source your special requirements. If you would like us to keep an eye out for something or source an item just let us know what you are after and your budget and we will let you know promptly if we can help.
Can I arrange my own shipping?
Yes you can. We can only give final parcel dimensions and weight when things are safely packed up but many of our customers arrange their own shipping for collection from our store. Please note, the item will become your responsibility once picked up by your courier. Ask for further information.
What if I change my mind? Or just don't like my item?
We operate a love it, or return it, no quibble, refund policy. We appreciate that things sometimes do not fit in or suit quite as expected, and as a result we are happy to provide refunds due to the very nature of online shopping. Buyers will be responsible for all transit costs. To qualify simply supply tracking details of the returned item and we will issue a refund for the item upon receipt.
Customs duties and taxes
We ship from France. For purchases outside of France import taxes or VAT may apply to purchases. Buyers are responsible for investigating and paying any import duties that may be due for importing vintage and antique items into their own countries.
