Frequently asked questions

Do you offer returns & exchanges?

Because each handmade item is unique and our product offering changes regularly, we currently do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges.

We are not liable for returns, refunds, or exchanges requested because the buyer did not read the item description.
Please read the item description before purchasing any item.

We reserve the right to cancel any order and provide a full refund for any reason.

Please see additional information below for refunds and responsibilities of the customer, EPOCH, the carrier, and the insurer.

What should I do about lost or damaged items?

For damaged items, do not throw damaged package or item away. Keep it and document the damage with photos.

For lost or damaged orders, send us a message and we will confirm for you that your package was received and scanned by the carrier and sent to the address you provided.

Lost items that are delivered, undeliverable, lost in transit, etc. by USPS will not be refunded by the shop as USPS views it as the responsibility of the customer to reach out for help locating a package. We will try to be as helpful as possible, but unfortunately, our liability ends once USPS scans or accepts the package.

Customers experiencing issues are encouraged to contact USPS directly to receive assistance with a lost or damaged package.

Will color and/or texture vary slightly by item?

Yes, items may not match the product photos exactly. This is not to say that the product will be very different than the product photo, but color and texture may vary slightly with natural materials such as leather, waxed canvas, etc. This is normal and won't affect the quality or usefulness of your piece.

What's the status of my order (or custom order)?

As you can imagine, it can be challenging to give every customer constant updates on every order. I appreciate my customers SO MUCH and I recognize that everyone is excited to get their item - especially if it's a custom piece! Unfortunately, the date (or date range) we agreed on is the date I'll hold to. If we miss that deadline, by all means, feel free to reach out. If we haven't gotten there yet, please be patient as I complete several orders at a time and set dates according to my workload.

I will try my best to communicate and answer your questions, but someone who asks me to rush the process isn't someone I'm likely to work with again. Good vibes only, right?

Why is my order delayed in the mail?

Unfortunately, we are not responsible for a package once USPS accepts it. Here's why:

It can be incredibly frustrating to see your order moving through the mail and then suddenly stop for weeks. As a maker, I want you to get your items as quickly as possible, and USPS can be unreliable. However, as a maker, I'm not able to give free items to everyone who experiences a delay. Delayed items almost always arrive within a few weeks.

Once USPS marks a package as "lost," we can typically take advantage of the insurance option under USPS Ground Advantage (up to $100). Before then, I ask for your patience.

If you'd like to explore other, more reliable shipping options, please message me before purchasing.
