Love this Icelandic ewe fleece from Haven! The colors are amazing! I wanted it for a felted rug but it is also perfect for my wool Krampus dolls! The seller's customer service is top notch! I definitely recommend this shop, thanks!!

Fantastic fleece. I typically give an analysis of my yield when reviewing fleeces, but this was my first time with a double-coated fleece. And it was a great one to learn on. The seller described it as higher VM due to Istella the sheep’s love of wriggling in grass, but honestly it wasn’t bad as VM goes. The lanolin stripped very cleanly which made it very easy to draft when spinning. I did separate the tog from the thel, and I’ve reserved those beautifully long locks for varafeldur weaving later. This fleece is a great example of a breed that provides wool that occupies that happy medium of being both soft and hardy, strong but not scratchy. And I can’t say enough about how lovely it is to be acquainted with the sheep this fleece came from through description and photo. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

OBSESSED with this fleece and Epworth farm. Based on the packaging alone, I was immediately excited. Fifi’s fleece was packaged with such care. There was a piece of wood, a stitch marker with a cute Ewe on it, a postcard, and a picture of Fifi with a description. The quality of this fleece is top notch and I can tell that she was well cared for. The fibers are so strong. Low VM, and no smell. I am so excited to start processing and get to spinning. I will absolutely be buying more fleeces from this farm
