Laissez-moi me présenter afin que vous puissiez faire connaissance avec la personne derrière la boutique.

Je m'appelle Jodie, une artiste, une amoureuse des animaux, une passionnée des plantes et j'ai peut-être une toute petite obsession pour les livres (des livres fantastiques à gagner !).

Je suis maman de deux filles de 10 et 12 ans et épouse d'un mari fou de sport.
Nous sommes une famille neurodivergente, célébrant notre caractère unique et apprenant les uns des autres tout en créant notre propre monde.

J'ai le plaisir d'enseigner à la maison ma plus jeune fille où j'ai la chance de pouvoir lire mes livres et créer mon art chaque fois qu'un moment se présente au cours de ma journée. Certains jours, je me retrouve avec des heures à consacrer à ma pratique artistique, tandis que d'autres jours, je ne trouve le temps que pour un rapide croquis de dix minutes.

En tant qu'introverti anxieux, l'art m'a toujours apporté un sentiment de paix (et parfois d'énormes frustrations si une œuvre d'art ne fonctionne pas !). J'ai dessiné depuis que je me souvienne et bon nombre de mes plus grandes réalisations, mes plus profondes réalisations personnelles. ma croissance et mes plus grandes joies viennent de mon art.

Dans les premières années de ma carrière artistique, je me suis engagé dans l’étude de l’art. J'ai passé de nombreuses années en cours particuliers à étudier le réalisme tonal (axé sur le style Meldrum), à terminer mon diplôme d'arts visuels (dessin et gravure) à l'Institut Chisholm et à terminer mon baccalauréat en arts visuels à l'Université Monash.

Il y a neuf ans, j'ai commencé à me concentrer sur Intuitive Artwork, où j'ai vendu des centaines d'œuvres et d'impressions personnalisées à des clients du monde entier. Vous pouvez trouver ce travail dans mon autre boutique Etsy @JodieSimpsonConduit

Let me introduce myself so that you can get to know the person behind the shop.

I'm Jodie, an artist, an animal lover, a plant enthusiast and I may have a teeny-tiny book obsession (fantasy books for the win!).

I'm a Mum to two daughters aged 10 and 12 and a wife to a sports crazy husband.
We are a Neurodivergent family, celebrating our uniqueness and learning from each other as we create our own world.

I have the pleasure of homeschooling my youngest daughter where I am blessed to be able to read my books and create my art whenever a moment arises during my day. Some days I find myself with hours to devote to my art practice while other days I might only find time for a quick ten minute sketch.

As an introvert with anxiety, art has always held me bringing me a sense of peace (and sometimes huge frustrations if an artwork isn't working out!) I have been drawing since I can remember and many of my greatest achievements, my deepest personal growth and my biggest joys have come from my art.

In the early years of my artistic career, I was committed to the study of art. I spent many years in private lessons studying Tonal Realism (focused on the Meldrum style), completing my Diploma of Visual Arts (Drawing and Printmaking) at Chisholm Institute and completing my Bachelor of Visual Arts at Monash University.

Nine years ago, I began focusing on Intuitive Artwork where I have sold hundreds of custom works and prints to customers all around the world. You can find this work in my other Etsy Shop @JodieSimpsonConduit
