The Evening Phoenix Takes Flight
When I was a little girl I was determined to make and save enough money to buy a Stradivarius violin, so I began creating and selling anything that came to my mind. Those naive days of bookmarks, Beanie Baby sleeping bags, ballet bun covers, wristlets, and animal cell phone pouches (and thinking I could make enough money to buy a Strad) have passed, but the lessons I learned through my entrepreneurial endeavors stayed with me throughout the years.
One item continued to be a hit: violin bags. I loved making them, but found myself lacking the time to do so with music school and a studio full of 20 violin students. After I finished school, I found myself with many traveling engagements for violin performances. This unfortunately meant I had to leave my teaching studio, but I now find myself with the time to share my love for music in other ways.
So became Evening Phoenix Designs! I have expanded my patterns for instrument bags to include many different sizes, types of material, and types of closures to ensure that everyone can find the perfect violin or viola bag just for them.
