Inspiration and Creative Living
I'm an artist, creative spirit, educator, adventure seeker, and storyteller. I want to encourage people to be inspired and live life to the fullest. In addition to painting, I enjoy the outdoors. When I'm not creating I live with my incredibly talented husband, my furry baby (Biscuit), and our two chickens (Jane and Nancy) in Glendora, California.
My passion is inspiring others and being inspired by the everyday.
As an educator, I am always looking to improve myself. I have worked hard at letting go and learning to not be afraid of what I create. My goal is to play and experience methods as I am introduced to them. It makes the process that much more fun.
It has taken me years to arrive at a place that I create art for myself. I used to think that everyone had to love what I did. However, what I have come to realize is that I have always loved the creative process and I would not be “me” if I wasn’t creating. If others enjoy what I create through that process I realize now that it as an added bonus.
It has not always been easy to strive for creativity in my life. I was often distracted and rarely encouraged by people. It was not until I met my husband that my world changed. In him, I found someone who helps me to be “me.” We spend time sharing music and art every day. I could not have asked for a more perfect spouse.
My hope is that I can bring that spark to others. I want people to embrace life and take time for the things they love.
