1. Combined Shipping
Yes, we do combine shipping to help our buyers save on costs. We automatically refund any excess shipping charges, even if you don’t request it.
For orchids that fit into one standard box, ground shipping typically ranges from $9.50–$10.50. Larger orchids may incur shipping fees of $14–$18, as noted in each listing. Some orchids are offered with free shipping. If you purchase a second orchid along with one that includes free shipping, we will gladly combine them in the same box at no additional cost (as long as they fit).
If you’d like to secure your orchids immediately (quantities are often limited), please place your order and send us a quick message requesting a shipping refund. Alternatively, you may send us a screenshot of your shopping cart before checkout. That way, we can confirm the box size and provide a coupon code to adjust shipping charges at checkout.
2. Shipping Policy
Orders are typically shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. For nearby states, we may also ship on Wednesdays or Thursdays if delivery can be completed within the same week. Orders placed midweek are usually shipped the following Monday or Tuesday. In some cases, smaller orchids may be shipped via USPS over the weekend for delivery early the following week.
⚠️ Shipping Leadtime: If you order from Monday to Wednesday, we often ship out the same day of your order.
⚠️ We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. A physical address is required.
Winter Shipping Policy
ADD A HEAT PACK
To protect your orchids during colder months, we highly recommend adding a heat pack to your order:
Most states: 72/96-hour heat pack
WA, OR, NV, SD, ND, and parts of ID near WA/OR: 96/120-hour heat pack
We may hold your order until conditions are safe to ship. However, since you know your local weather best, please notify us if special arrangements are needed.
UPGRADE SHIPPING:
We recommend that customers in colder regions consider upgrading to FedEx 2-Day Air, which is available in our store at a very reasonable rate. This option helps ensure your orchids arrive as quickly as possible and reduces the risk of exposure to cold temperatures during transit.
3. Photos of Blooming Orchids
Most photos in our listings are taken from the actual batch of orchids offered. Please note:
Colors may vary slightly due to camera settings, monitors, or background conditions.
Individual plants may produce blooms with slight color differences.
Orchids often open with more vibrant colors that naturally soften over time.
Because this variation is natural, please understand that blooms may not appear exactly as in the listing photos.
4. Fragrant Orchids
Fragrance in orchids can vary from person to person and also by time of day. Many orchids release stronger scents in the morning or warmer parts of the day, especially when grown in a greenhouse. Some species may be less fragrant indoors compared to greenhouse conditions.
For this reason, please do not be surprised if a fragrance is faint or not noticeable in certain environments.
5. Problems & Issues
All shipments are insured. If your order arrives damaged, please notify us immediately upon receipt. Provide photos of both the orchid and the box so we can file a claim. Please retain all plants and packing materials until the claim is processed.
While we take great care in packaging, we cannot guarantee flowers, buds, sheaths, or spikes once the plants leave our facility. Growing orchids takes years of dedication, so we kindly ask for your understanding if a flower or spike is damaged while the plant itself remains healthy.
Fortunately, damage is extremely rare (less than 2% of orders). You may review our customer feedback for reassurance.
⚠️ If there is any issue with your orchid upon arrival, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. Requests made after this period cannot be honored. Please keep in mind that orchids are living plants—their ongoing health depends on the care they receive once delivered—so we cannot assume responsibility beyond this timeframe.
