Existential Entropy is about existing in chaos. Every piece is unique- just like you. Welcome home.

When I was 9 years old my grandpa taught me how to throw on the wheel and create pottery. I've always loved the metamorphosis pottery goes through: from a simple lump of clay and minerals to stone with a glassy finish-- which can never quite exactly be predicted before the fire. It's chaotic and beautiful and mirrors our own human stories.

At 22 I earned my BA in anthropology and became OBSESSED with ancient civilizations and human evolution- both physical and cultural. Digging through the earth to find our stories and piecing together the past-- never quite knowing if we have the story (which is constantly evolving as new information is added) right. How much like pottery!

In the last 8 years I've earned 2 teaching degrees, a love of art history, and developed a ridiculous amount of techniques that I use, get bored of, then reinvent. The constant change in my art and techniques is my own metamorphosis as an artist and conscious being.

I love how close to Gaia and to humanity holding pottery makes me feel. I love looking at the stars and imagining other planets and ways of being. I love the way the atmosphere smells when I'm excited. I feel suffocated by all the things I don't know
