Epic Swords from Legends to Reality
Our small sword workshop is rooted in Wazirabad, the celebrated "City of Cutlery" situated along the Chenab River in Punjab. Nestled near the historic Grand Trunk Road, our shop carries forward a multi-generational legacy of blade-smithing that dates back to the Mughal era.The Heritage of WazirabadThe art of forging swords originally flourished in this region during the Mughal Empire. Generations of master craftsmen (karigars) passed down their closely guarded techniques of tempering, hammering, and polishing from father to son. Today, the area remains the undisputed global center of blade manufacturing in Pakistan, supporting around 350 specialized sword and hunting equipment units.
Our workshop specializes in the meticulous creation of both historical replicas and fantasy swords. Every single piece is forged through a multi-step, labor-intensive process:Forging: Premium high-carbon or Damascus steel is heated to glowing temperatures and carefully hammered and shaped.Grinding & Polishing: Skilled artisans grind the metal to exact proportions and polish the steel to a mirror finish.Finishing: Handles made of rich local wood, bone, or brass are meticulously attached, and paired with custom-stitched cowhide or leather sheaths.
While the core techniques remain ancient, our shop has evolved with the times. When modern global trends sparked a huge demand for historical replicas—including swords inspired by heroic epics and medieval television series—our workshop adapted, supplying collectors and history enthusiasts worldwide. Today, our small forge bridges the gap between ancient South Asian blade-smithing and global pop culture, transforming raw steel into pieces of art.
We are forging since 2016.
