Mi chiamo Veronica Richard e sono la proprietaria e creatrice di FFNB Designs - aka French Fries & Butterflies. Entrambe le mie nonne mi hanno insegnato come lavorare all'uncinetto in giovane età, e anche se non l'ho capito bene, circa 10 anni fa ho ripreso il gancio e non ho guardato indietro.
Mi è sempre piaciuto creare cose per gli altri. Che si trattasse di una pagaia speciale per la mia sorellina sorority o di una sciarpa e un set di cappelli per mio fratello. Mi è piaciuto rendere felici gli altri con quello che posso fare. Ecco perché ho deciso di creare French Fries & Butterflies.
Perché patatine fritte e farfalle? Patatine fritte perché quando ero un bambino, quella era la mia cosa preferita da mangiare e lo è ancora - anche se ora è con moderazione. Farfalle perché ho sempre amato la natura e così ha fatto mia nonna materna. Si sedeva sempre sotto il portico e si godeva i fiori nel cortile. Quando è passata, mi sono fatto tatuare una farfalla sulla schiena in modo che fosse sempre con me.
Creare è la mia passione, quindi per favore divertiti con me.

My name is Veronica Richard and I am the owner and creator at FFNB Designs - aka French Fries & Butterflies. Both of my grandmothers taught me how to crochet at a young age, and though I didn't quite get it then, about 10 years ago I picked up the hook again and haven't looked back.
I have always enjoyed creating things for others. Whether it was a special paddle for my sorority little sister or a scarf and hat set for my brother. I have loved making others happy with what I can make. That's why I decided to create French Fries & Butterflies.
Why French Fries & Butterflies? French Fries because when I was a kid, that was my favorite thing to eat and still is - although now it's in moderation. Butterflies because I always loved nature and so did my maternal grandmother. She would always sit on the porch and enjoyed the flowers in the yard. When she passed, I got a tattoo of a butterfly on my back so she would always be with me.
Creating is my passion, so please enjoy it with me.
