Frequently asked questions
How do I download my files?
Right after checkout, sign in on Etsy.com and go to You > Purchases and reviews, then click Download Files next to your order. You can also use the download link in your Etsy order confirmation email. A computer is easiest for ZIP files; on a phone or tablet, open Etsy in a web browser and use a files app that can unzip. Your files stay in your Purchases page, so you can download them again later.
Will anything be shipped to me?
No. Every FableFile item is a digital download only. Nothing physical ships, and frames, paper and props shown in photos aren't included.
What sizes can I print?
Each listing shows its exact sizes. Our wall art sets include five ratios: 2:3 (4x6 up to 24x36 in), 3:4 (6x8 up to 18x24 in), 4:5 (4x5 up to 16x20 in), 11x14 in, and ISO A sizes (A5 to A1), all as 300 DPI files. Planners, calendars, party games and coloring pages come in US Letter and A4, and the planners also include a digital version for tablets. Print at home, at a local print shop or with an online photo lab.
Why do my prints look darker or different from the screen?
Screens are backlit, so deep, moody colors often print a little darker. Turn on color management, try matte or satin paper, and see the how-to-print guide in your download for tips. If a file itself looks wrong, message us and we'll help.
Can I use the designs for my business?
Wall art, planners, calendars, party games and coloring pages are for personal use: your home, your own party, or a personal gift (teachers may print the coloring pages for their own classroom). Our holiday sale Canva templates are made for business use: create marketing graphics for your own shop or for one client per purchase. Please don't resell, share or upload any of our files, edited or unedited. Each download includes a license file with the details.
How do I edit the Canva templates?
Our templates are editable PPTX files that import into Canva. They aren't Canva template links. Download and unzip the files on a computer, then in Canva choose Upload (or Create a design > Import file) and select a PPTX file. It opens as a normal editable design in your own free Canva account. Change the text, dates and colors, add your logo, and download as PNG or JPG. The START HERE guide in your download walks through every step.
Can I return or get a refund on a digital item?
Because digital files can't be returned, we don't accept returns or exchanges on digital items. But we'll always make it right: if a file is faulty, won't open, is missing pages, or you received the wrong file, message us and we'll fix or replace it promptly, or refund you if we can't. If you accidentally buy the same item twice, let us know and we'll refund the duplicate. This doesn't affect your legal rights.
How do I contact you?
Message the shop here on Etsy (the Message Seller button) or email tj@fablefile.com. Please include your order number so we can help quickly. We reply as quickly as we can.
