We Love Fabric and All Its Creative Possibilities!
My mom started the shop in 1982 and I took over the store when she retired in 2005. We carry over 5,000 bolts of fabric ranging from 1930s and historical reproductions to modern and abstract. In 2010, we started our online business specializing in unique Kits and flexible Block-of-the-Month programs.
Our customers like the convenience of having everything they need to make a project inside the kit. For example, if a tote bag requires interfacing, zippers, or special hardware, we put that in the kit. When your kit arrives, you are ready to sew and go!
Our Block-of-the-Month programs feature a Boo-Boo bundle of extra fabrics, so if you make a mistake you can keep going. We also create and include special cutting diagrams for each month of the program ~ these show you visually how to best cut the pieces from the fabric. Binding and coordinated backing complete the BOM programs. We also cut all BOM kits in advance, so when you sign up, we put your name on a bag. You can rest assured that everything is there for you. And because all the kits are cut in advance, you have great flexibility in how you take delivery ~ one per month, two per month, or take the complete set of kits and we pay the shipping to any US destination!
