For the love of sewing!

Fabritopia! Supplying beautiful fabrics and patterns to the masses since 2003!

In 2003 I started finding unique and beautiful fabrics in my local shops and re-selling them online. Before long I launched a sewing blog (Stop Staring and Start Sewing!) and online fabric store specializing mostly in quilting cottons. When the recession hit my store I moved everything back onto etsy and worked on other projects while thinking about what to do next.

In 2013 my first book, The Essential A-Line: Make 17 Flirty Skirts from 1 Basic Pattern, was published by Stash Books. I've continued to design patterns (available here!) and have more planned.

In 2017 I started a sewing school in my home studio and I am currently teaching while writing a sewing curriculum for schools.
