Hi, I'm Becky, owner of Falling Fauna. I'm a huge wildlife enthusiast and totally obsessed with clay!
All items I make are exclusively animals and birds (mostly birds) inspired mainly by my local wildlife, although I do like to make more exotic beasties from time to time too.
I use two types of clay:
Air drying paper clay - I use this for brooches and hanging ornaments as it is lovely and light weight.
Air drying pottery clay - I use this for my miniatures, it has a more weighty feel and is great for doing finer details.
My brooches and ornaments I tend to make again and again so if something you had your eye on is sold out just give me a little nudge and I'll get right on it.
My miniatures however I make for fun. I like the freedom to make whatever I want and whenever I happen to feel like it. I will occasionally make the same things again but rarely, so unfortunately once its gone its unlikely to be available again...sorry
I try my best to use vegan friendly materials where possible (clay/paints/brushes..etc) and all my packaging is recyclable and/or biodegradable.
