All packages are shipped via USPS Mail! All are insured and shipped with a tracking number which will be provided to you after we obtain it from the USPS.

On items shipped with you paying the shipping fee, shipping is calculated by Etsy based on an estimated weight of all your items added together. If shipping ends up costing less than you paid, the difference will be refunded. If you order more than one item and the shipping is less than you paid, a refund of the difference will be issued.

We ship no less than 5 days per week (unless there is a holiday) and most orders will ship in 7-10 business days as we ship a unique and custom art piece just for you when you order (it is made and created for you as you order). If ordering a piece that is in stock, it will usually ship within 1-3 business days unless custom additions are requested. We reach out through message here with your purchase confirming color preference unless you send in your preference with your order.

We ship to the address you provide to Etsy. You will receive a shipping notification via email once your shipping label has been printed and the package has been accepted by a postal worker at the USPS. The email will include a tracking number that you can use to track your package. We can not be held responsible for orders that go to the wrong address. The address pre-populates during processing and we do not see or have access to any old addresses on your account. If your order gets sent to the wrong address due to customer input error, we can not be held responsible for replacements or refunds.

PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED
USPS delivery vehicles use GPS that can automatically update a package as "delivered" prematurely. Please wait at least 4 business days, as the package could have been marked as delivered by mistake, and will arrive soon.

You can contact your local USPS post office. Make sure you contact your LOCAL post office, and not the USPS hotline. Your local post office will be able to provide quicker, and better service. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. USPS is used to these questions, and will generally provide helpful information.

Falling In Paints does not cover service errors, including loss, theft, or postal/shipping issues. Further, Falling In Paints cannot reimburse OR re-ship orders that were mis-delivered by the post office or stolen from a property. If the package still does not show up, please call USPS to start an investigation for the package. “Claims” filed with USPS only cover damaged or lost items. They will not reimburse for a package marked as delivered but an investigation CAN be opened as to its exact location. If this does happen to you, please reach out to me with an email or

When ordering multiple items with free shipping, we will place them all in one package in order to cut down on the shipping costs on our end. This will help us to continue to offer free shipping on these items.

*All fragile items are bubble wrapped, or packed with air shipping material as well as being individually wrapped and nestled within the shipping box for their safe passage. Your box will also come heavily pasted with Fragile stickers so that hopefully from any angle people can see this package needs special handling.

I do my best to insure that all items will arrive safely however things can happen during shipping that are out of my control, see my refund policy for any further clarification.

Items are always shipped insured and sent to you with a tracking number issued by the USPS. If you receive your package damaged, or have any other issues with your purchase, please contact me immediately here or email me at fallinginpaints [!at] gmail.com. You will need to take plenty of photos of the damaged product and the packaging. Also, you will need to keep the original packaging (the postal service may require you to take the packaging to one of their offices). I will then file a claim with the postal service. If the claim is paid, I will replace the item. I will gladly refund or exchange any damaged items, but I do request that the damaged items are mailed back to me at your expense and I will replace it at mine.

I can not be responsible for the condition that your item arrives in once it leaves my care. I take care to ensure your item will be safe and well packaged within the shipping box to prevent any damage from “usual or normal” handling and delivery by the post office and the workers in their employ. However, PLEASE contact me if you do have an issue. I always reserve the right to work with you on an individual basis as I know how things can happen.

I also can not be held responsible for any packages that have become lost or are undeliverable by the post office. If your item has not arrived by the given date, please allow an additional 10 business days as per the USPS they are having a difficult time keeping up in the pandemic and some things are experiencing delays. If you still haven’t received it, PLEASE reach out to me. Again, I reserve the right to work with you on an individual basis when things happen that are beyond both of our control.
