The construction of this Dog Car Seat consists of heavy duty 1/2 inch pvc which completely surrounds the Basket. The Car Seat cover consists of high quality decorator weight fabrics which drape beautifully and has a tie at each corner (4 total) to hold it securely in place. All fabric pieces are completely removable for washing.
