My life changed the day my daughter met her first mermaid. It changed again when she requested a swimmable mermaid tail. We ordered Fin Fun Mermaid tails, and were instantly hooked!
Within the space of a year I'd constructed my first silicone tail, which left me with all of these beautiful molds, just sitting there. So I now offer replicas of my fin/fluke designs, for you to bling up your tails. They are sewable or glue-able. Coming soon: monofin covers for commercial fabric tails, to give your fishtail a glamorous realistic mermaid fluke (and preserve the life of your spandex) for a fraction of the price of a full silicone tail.

Care instructions
Care of silicone:
Silicone is very durable! But it can get scuffed up on the bottoms and sides of pools, and the heel and ankle regions are particularly vulnerable to wearing because they are stretched when you wear it. Try not to stand on your flukes in the pool if you can help it, particularly if your fluke has paint. A worn region can be touched up with another coat to restore the shine. Contact me for details.
Custom and personalized orders
I accept commissions for silicone items including shells, fins, and flukes! I'm also happy to bring drawings to life in a fully swimmable version.
Commissions require a 50% down payment that is NOT refundable if you decide to cancel your order. Payment in full is due before item will be shipped.
Commissioned items can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of delivery if you're not happy with the item, but I will retain the right to resell the returned item to recoup my lost time and materials (even if it's based on your design).
Sequin care
Treat your sequinned items gently! The big seashell sequins I use are more durable than most standard sequins, but they can still break with age and rough wear. Occasionally the iridescent coating may peel off as well. Definitely do not leave them out in the sun or in a hit car!
Shipping details
Buyers outside of the US: please be aware that tariffs and import taxes may apply to your order. I cannot predict these nor can I charge you for them up front. The buyer is responsible for all such fees once your package reaches your country.
I make every effort to produce items in a timely manner, but please be aware that silicone can be a finicky product, particularly in a humid summer. I will always be up front about the status of your order if you ask me. Made-to-order items may take up to four weeks for completion. Ready-to-ship items will generally ship within 3-5 business days.
If you have a deadline, please let me know about it before you make your order. I don't charge extra for rush orders if items are small.
