Welcome to Fancy Frank's Weber BBQ
I am a BBQ Enthusiast, Collector and have restored many vintage Weber charcoal and gas grills. Being born in Illinois I have followed learned the history of Weber.
Restoring the vintage grills and finding parts was very difficult to find in new condition. So I started crafting and making replacement parts that are no longer available from the factory.
This suddenly turned in to creating Crafts with the BBQ Enthusiast in mind as well as myself. This is what my shop is all about. The Love of BBQ Cooking and accessories to use and display.
About my background; Born and raised in Illinois. In the 1960's and 1970's Weber BBQ was always a must have grill. My Dad got his first Weber Kettle for Fathers Day in 1975. As a young boy I learned from my parents how to use the Weber. So very cool and trying different techniques.
I left for the United States Air Force when I was Seventeen and did a tour in Germany. Also, learned the German cooking Cuisine and how they BBQ in Germany.
Now, I collect grills, accessories and BBQ for family and friends. I am always thinking about new ideas and techniques. Since I have become skillful in 3D design and 3D printing I enjoy creating BBQ related accessories for everyone else to enjoy.
