Hi, I’m Mayra — the creator behind Far Out Custom Designs.
I’ve always been a creative soul who loves turning simple ideas into unique, colorful pieces. As a diabetic living with other health challenges, I wanted my medical devices to reflect me — not just feel clinical or boring. So I started designing and 3D printing accessories that made my everyday gear stand out.
What began as something personal grew into something bigger. Now I create fun, functional pieces not only for myself, but for fellow diabetics (my diabesties 💙) and others living with chronic conditions. I also love supporting small businesses and helping others grow through creativity.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me traveling, reading, or sharing diabetic-friendly content across my platforms. I believe medical gear doesn’t have to be dull — it can be bold, expressive, and full of personality.
Most of all, I believe in spreading kindness, confidence, and color wherever I can.
