Sawasdee kha 🌸 Welcome to Fat Paws Studio!

I’m a Thai language ,Culture and History teacher from Chiang Mai, Thailand, with over 20 years of experience teaching in international schools.

Working with students from different cultures and language backgrounds has given me a deep understanding of the challenges learners face when studying Thai as an additional language. Over the years, I have developed Thai language curricula, textbooks, worksheets, bilingual resources, flashcards, and classroom activities. I have also had the opportunity to share my experience as a workshop facilitator for Thai language educators.

I created Fat Paws Studio to bring together three things I love: teaching, Thai culture, and creative design.

Here you’ll find printable mini books, flashcards, worksheets, and learning activities designed for Thai beginners, international students, teachers, homeschoolers, bilingual families, and independent learners of different ages. Each resource is thoughtfully created with clear language support, learner-friendly pronunciation, meaningful cultural content, and practical use in mind.

My classroom experience shapes everything I create. I aim to make each resource visually engaging and easy to use, while still providing meaningful learning beyond simple vocabulary memorization. Many resources introduce learners to everyday Thai life, traditions, food, places, and cultural connections along the way.

And the name Fat Paws Studio? It was inspired by my two much-loved studio assistants, Sydney and Melbourne. They supervise the creative process, inspect the workspace, and make sure I take enough snack breaks. 🐾

My goal is simple: to make learning Thai clearer, more approachable, and more enjoyable—wherever in the world you may be learning.
