In March 2017 I decided to make something different: how to make my own dolls. I signed up for an amigurumi course and as I already knew how to crochet something, I wanted to see if it would work. At the time I was working in an architecture office and I showed my co-workers what I had done, at the time I heard: You need to make a page with your dolls! It will work out great. After finishing my first Pikachu, I showed it to my boyfriend (who likes Pokemon a lot and is usually my personal critic on duty), the answer filled me with joy: This Pikachu is really cool! Let's photograph him in downtown Porto Alegre! Then. So I went on... with the support of family and friends I decided to start crocheting everything that interested me in pop culture, and people really liked my work?
Maybe (or probably!) because of my background in architecture, I'm very careful with the details and proportions of my amigurumis, I've already broken up some orders and started from scratch because I'm not the same as the characters. I really like doing this, I don't know how long I'm going to sustain this triple life of an architect + the desire to be a teacher + artisan, what I know is that as long as I'm doing it, I'm doing it. So take the opportunity to order while I'm still in the pile to do!

All amigurumis have a lot of crochet, fiberfill, a little felt, sometimes contact glue and finishing. What is never is research for references, dedication, care and a taste for creation.
