I’m proud to say that I support animal rights and I buy the bulk of my wool from animal sanctuaries. They sell wool from the sheep they have saved. This raises money to help house unwanted livestock.
The recycled sari ribbon and yarn is a fair trade product. It supports woman cooperatives that ensure a fair wage to them, and absolutely no child labor. This fun, exotic product is from mill waste or from vintage and used sari material from India, Instead of filling up landfills, it's been given a second go round...lucky for us. The dye on the brighter primary colors will bleed when wet.
