Clothed like the lilies of the field
Field & Promise began with two fields in Scripture.
The first is where Jesus pointed to the flowers: "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these" (Matthew 6:28 to 29).
The second is where Ruth went out to glean, and found far more than she came for (Ruth 2). Charles Spurgeon once wrote, "come and glean to-day in the broad field of promise."
Every design here is one promise gleaned from Scripture, drawn with care and set with its verse, so you can carry it through an ordinary day: to church, on the school run, or to the coffee shop where a stranger asks what your shirt means.
